The Conceal Bookshelf is an L-shaped, powder-coated steel bracket that becomes invisible when used, creating the illusion of a floating stack of books. The design features a thin ledge and integrated clips that secure the back cover of a hardcover book, allowing the remaining volumes to be stacked directly on top. This space-saving wall mount supports up to 15 or 20 pounds depending on the size, and serves as a minimalist alternative to traditional free-standing shelving. It was designed by Miron Lior for Umbra in 2006.
